Kate Kunin (she/her) received her Bachelor's Degree in English Teaching from the University of New Hampshire in 2016 and earned her Master's in Education from UNH in 2017. After working for two years in public schools, Kate began teaching writing at Landmark School where she is now working as the Assistant Department Head of the Language Arts Department. In 2022, Kate earned her Master's in Moderate Disabilities from Boston University. Kate spends her free time visiting her parents in Maine, going to concerts, and watching as much reality tv as she can.

Olivia O’Halloran (she/her) completed her undergraduate education at Colby College in 2022 and began her role as a Language Arts teacher at Landmark High School later that year. In addition to LA, Olivia recently taught an ESL class in Boston and an executive function summer course at Landmark. Olivia is also continuing her own education, working towards a Master’s in Special Education from the Wheelock College of Education & Human Development at Boston University. When Olivia is not teaching, she enjoys spending her time hiking, camping, or reading in nature.

Mike Richardson received his Bachelor's Degree in History from Salem State University in 2017. After working for a year in Salem public schools, Mike taught writing within the Expressive Language Program at Landmark School for six years. In 2023, Mike earned his Master's in Moderate Disabilities from Boston University. Currently, Mike is the Language Based Specialist at Wakefield Memorial High School. When not teaching, Mike spends his free time exercising, coaching baseball, going to concerts, and reading as much as he can.

Katie Roberts (she/her) received her Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Secondary Education from Stonehill College in 2018, and is currently working on her Master's in Moderate Disabilities from Boston University. After working as a paraprofessional in a public middle school for two years, and teaching English to Mandarin-speaking students during the 2019-2020 pandemic, she began teaching writing at Landmark School where she still is today. Katie spends her free time visiting with her family and friends, reading novels, and rewatching her favorite TV shows.

Nathan Gray (he/him) is a dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience, originally from Maine and currently based in Beverly, MA. Since 2008, he has been teaching at Landmark High School, where he has taught a wide range of subjects including 1:1 tutorials, ceramics, photography, reading, and geometry. Nathan specializes in literacy instruction, particularly using the LiPS program, and focuses on helping students develop strong study skills and organizational habits. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from the University of Maine and Master's degree in Special Education from Simmons College. Outside of teaching, Nathan enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, wing foiling, disc golf, reading, and tackling various construction projects.

Dave Hammond (he/him) received her Bachelor's Degree in History from Worcester State University in 2018 and earned his Master's in Special Education with a focus in Moderate Disabilities from Boston University in 2024. After working for one year in public school, Dave began teaching History at Landmark School where he is now working as a Campus Coordinator with the Residential Department. Dave spends his free time cooking, coaching, and listening to live music.

Andrew (he/him) teaches at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School, in Billerica MA as a general education science and math teacher. Prior to teaching at Shawsheen, Andrew worked as a Special Education teacher at Landmark School, located in Prides Crossing, MA for five years as a science teacher focusing on executive function and study skills. Andrew received a MEd in Special Education Moderate Disabilities 5-12 from Boston University and continues to implement the teaching strategies and practices he learned at Landmark School to his teaching now. When he's not tutoring Andrew may be spotted running on the streets of Beverly, where he and his wife, Amanda live.

James Mattes (he/him) received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a Minor in Math from Plymouth State University in 2020. After working as a paraprofessional for a year in public schools, James began teaching at Landmark School where he is now working as an Algebra 1 teacher. He is now in the process of earning his Master’s in Moderate Disabilities from Boston University. James spends his free time visiting his parents in New Hampshire, playing as much golf as he can, and being an avid Boston Sports fan.

Brian Strothman (he/him) is a math teacher at (Algebra II and Pre-Calculus) at Landmark School. After spending his summers in high school and college at a literacy program, Brian graduated from Tufts University in 2022 with a degree in Political Science and Mathematics. After a very brief career in politics, he joined the team at Landmark, returning to the North Shore, education, and math. He spends his free time playing and coaching ultimate frisbee, cooking, baking, and gardening.

Ruth (she/her) is an ASHA-certified licensed Speech Language Pathologist who has been practicing for 24 years to improve the communication skills of both children, adolescents, and adults, in a variety of settings including the home, pre-schools, and various private and public elementary, middle and high schools. Ruth has treated students with a variety of communication disorders including developmental language delay, speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language disorder, developmental language disorder, social pragmatic language disorder, and ADHD and associated executive function weakness. Ruth holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Dartmouth College, and a Master's in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College. In her free time, she enjoys staying active by running, hiking, skiing, and walking her flat-coated retriever, Jack, on the many wooded trails of the North Shore, or simply spending time with her husband and 15 year-old twins.

Liam Hanratty (he/him) earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Roger Williams University in 2011. He worked as a home- and community-based therapeutic mentor for 4 years before attending Salem State University to earn a Master’s in Occupational Therapy in 2018. Liam began working with Chelsea Public Schools as an Occupational Therapist in August 2018 where he continues to work with elementary students. With his time off, you might find Liam on the golf course, gardening at home, or trying to perfect a pizza dough recipe.
